Weekend of July 28 & 29, 2012

Honestly I don't even want to write about Saturday because I am so excited to write about my wicked Wicked experience today (Sunday!)  Saturday was a chill family day.  We did a little shopping at First Village in Asan, put Gman down for a nap, when he woke up we went to baskin robbins and got the kids a ice cream cone.  Then we went to the movies too see Ice Age Continental Drift.  It was Greysons first movie and he did great.  He wanted to sit on Brandon most of the movie.  It was a great movie and then enjoyed an amazing dinner Brandon grilled out.  He really has become quite the grill master the past couple months!  He has Adam Perry Langs book BBQ25 that he loves!  Here is his website: http://www.thekitchn.com/get-out-your-grills-117444
We ended our evening watching Unstoppable with Denzel Washington and Chris Pine, it is a couple years old but for some reason we never got around to watching it.  We both thought it was a good movie.  Just as the movie was about to end we heard little zombie feet (thats what Olivia's feet sound like when she scuffs her way into our room) as she crawled into daddy's pillow I leaned in to give her a kiss and ask her what she was doing in our bed when I realized she was hot!  Crap.  G felt great all day with no fever and then Liv got sick.  She had a fever of 102, we got her some medicine and put her back in bed and we both laid in her room for a little while.  She made me do "round and round the cornfield, round and round we go.."  for about 20 minutes and then I sang Daddy's song a few times and she finally said goodnight and rolled on her side.  That is my cue to leave and go to bed while I can!

Sunday was AMAZING!  Well...for me at least.  Megan & Jen bought me a ticket for Wicked for doing photo sessions of their girls.  Unfortunately Jen wasn't able to go.  We left in the morning and traffic to Seoul was perfect and we had a little over a hour before the show started.  We went for a hot and humid walk down the street and found a cute little bistro that we had a quick bite to eat at.  We made it back to the theater with a few minutes to spare and had a hard time finding our seats since our tickets were in Hangul.

I can't even begin to describe the show because no words can do justice.  The cast was amazing and their voices were so magical that it brought tears to my eyes and chills through my body.  If you have the opportunity to see the show, go!  It was my first Broadway show and will not be my last!  I want to go see it again...a few times lol!  Of course we couldn't take video or take pictures but this was my favorite part of the show (I found it on youtube)

After a walk around Itaewon we ate dinner at a Thai restaurant and had mango and sticky rice for dessert!!! My absolute favorite Thai dessert!

After a fun drive home I got home to my three loves.  I am so happy I was able to see them for a little while before bedtime!

This is what I got when I asked for smiles from my silly kiddos!!  :D
